Thor: Rehearsal Studio
Thor is one of our three dedicated rehearsal rooms, a proper, well-equipped space for bands who want to put in the work.
Fitted with two Laney Ironheart guitar amps, a TC Electronic bass rig, three Shure SM58 microphones on K&M stands, a Mapex drum kit and Yamaha DBR10 700w speakers, Thor has everything a full band needs from the moment they walk in. No hunting around for leads, no compromising on sound quality.
Loki: Rehearsal Studio
Loki mirrors Thor in terms of gear—two Ironheart guitar amps, a bass amp, microphones, a drum kit and DBR10 speakers—but it has its own acoustic personality.

Thor, Loki and Odin are our three rehearsal rooms, and together they make up Viking Studios Hampshire.
Each room has its own acoustic feel, but all three are equipped to exactly the same professional standard.
It does not matter which room you book; the gear is the same, the setup is the same, and the experience is the same.
What changes is the room itself, and sometimes that is exactly what a band needs to hear their music differently.
Bragi: Recording, Production & DJ Practice Studio
Bragi is the heart of our production operation and easily our most versatile space. It houses a Studio Mac running both Logic Pro and Pro Tools, a Behringer X32 Compact Digital Mixing Console that connects to all three rehearsal rooms, and Pioneer SX2 DJ decks with Serato software.

Bragi doubles as a dedicated mixing and mastering space, equipped with professional monitoring and industry-standard software so every detail translates properly across playback systems.

Album discounts are available, drop us a message and we'll put together a package that works for your project. Pro Tools tutoring is also on offer from £30 per hour, control room and equipment included, if you want to build your production skills in a proper studio environment.
For engineers, recording engineering rates start from £40 per hour or £275 for a seven-hour day. Producing starts from £20 per hour, and a combined producing and engineering package is available from £55 per hour (£375 for a full day). Rates are paid directly to the engineer.

Every room has proper ventilation and air conditioning, so you can focus on playing rather than sweating. And if you need to bring heavy equipment in, we have a powered sack trolley available; though in most cases, you won't need to haul much given what's already here.
Booking & Pricing
Rehearsal studio hire starts at £60 for a three-hour slot across Thor, Loki and Odin. Additional hours can be added at £20 per hour. Bragi is bookable separately at £20 per hour, or alongside a rehearsal studio if you want to record simultaneously.

We're based at Unit 1G3, Passfield Mill Business Park, Mill Lane, Passfield, Hampshire GU30 7QU; just off the A3 at Liphook, with straightforward connections to the A31 and A325. That positioning makes us genuinely accessible from across the region.

We occupy a first-floor unit in a converted paper mill, which means some people may need additional support accessing the building. More Than Just a Studio
Valhalla Media is part of the Chatty Café Scheme, and we mean it when we say everyone's welcome. Our communal area is free to use, you're not on the clock when you're in there, and our onsite coffee shop is open to the public Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 16:00.
There's proper coffee, a range of teas and hot chocolate, cakes (including gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options), 10-inch pizzas, and cold drinks.
