Jarl Greybeard (Chris Hardy)
Jarl Greybeard is a bass player in several bands, playing blues, rock and pop covers. His desire to create his own recording and rehearsal studios has driven this project, after many years of using rehearsal facilities that could have been more inviting, Chris wanted Valhalla to be a space for musicians and industry related talent, that would make you want to return time and time again . You won’t see much of Jarl Greybeard as a rule, but if you spot him – ask him for a selfie by Odin’s Throne Chris has had a lifetime passion for music, with his favourite bands being Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden, with a bit of Supertramp on the side, he has a huge love of live music.


The Boss (Kate Hardy)
The Boss is a budding amateur musician (piano and clarinet) and lover of almost all music genres, the first albums Kate remembers buying were by The Police, Five Star and Bon Jovi, and this eclectic mix has continued to shape her music taste, with the very first concert being Motorhead in Guildford in the late 1980s. The Boss has been responsible for bringing you the Valhalla concept and is the power behind having a community feel to the studios. Kate is tasked with the overall running of Valhalla and day to day operations, with Charlie as second in command and ably assisted by the rest of the crew. The Boss will be the usual person to greet you on arrival and ensure you are given a warm Valhalla welcome.
Charlie Crowhurst
Charlie brings a high level of expertise to the studios with his sound engineer and producer experience. Music has always been a major part of his life, with every opportunity to have headphones on or play music as loud as possible. At college he finally had the chance to pursue his passion by studying Music Technology and Sound Engineering, whilst continuing to love all things “music”. Charlie is now nearing completion of his degree in Audio Production and Music Technology at Chichester University, having gained invaluable industry experience. He has also attended mixing masterclasses at Abbey Road, mixing for artists in Jamaica and artists in the local area, all whilst learning his trade and honing his skills from lecturers with vast music industry experience.
As a Producer and Engineer, he can offer a wide range of services; innovative ideas and insights with the production experience to take your tracks to the next level. He offers industry standard practices when it comes to recording, mixing and mastering. Charlie is excited to collaborate with his existing client base and new artists.


Hugh McCusker
Hugh is a drummer and musician who has gigged around the local area. A car enthusiast and mechanic with a passion for making and recording music. Hugh loves to help people, he has completed his diploma in Music Performance and Production, which has helped him to understand the areas of music that he loves the most. Hugh is a Grade 8 Drummer, and extremely talented.

Corey Wright
Corey is currently studying music technology as one of his subjects at Alton HSDC College and is enthusiastic about music overall. While mainly listening to most things metal related, he is happy about being able to produce all kinds of music. Corey is also a confident musician, being able to play Guitar, Bass and Drums.
Corey can offer a good insight with recording and mixing music, and is always happy to help with any project you need assistance with.
Corey is passionate and excited to be able to work with clients to record and produce music as part of the Valhalla crew.


The Young Shield Maiden (Natalie Stokes)
Natalie has a varied music taste, from One Direction to Obituary. She has a love of live music and collecting vinyl. Alongside studying ancient and modern history at college, her enthusiasm for all things historical has incorporated itself into the Norse influences of Valhalla Media.
The Young Shield Maiden loves to share random fun facts, and is always up for an interesting conversation about life and the universe. Our favourite fun fact is that she is contractually obliged to laugh at Jarl Greybeard’s bad Dad jokes!
Harvey Jones
Harvey is interested in photography, cars and aircraft alongside his passion for music, this includes playing drums and DJing.
Harvey listens to all genres of music, mostly Rock, Indy or any type of EDM but you won’t catch him listening to Country willingly!


The Hell Hounds (Raven and Henry)
Raven is our old lady, she’s apathetic to most things, if you’re lucky she might even acknowledge you. Henry is our enthusiastic character, if you throw his ball for him, he’ll be your best friend.
