Our Story

In 2022, Valhalla Media's owners started the journey to bring you the best recording studio in Liphook and rehearsal facilities in the area. Our passion to provide professional facilities for all abilities has driven our desire to deliver a studio experience to rival all others. We are independently owned, situated close to the Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex borders. Just off the A3 at Liphook, with close ties to the A31 and A325.

Our Studios

We offer a choice of three rehearsal rooms, Odin, Thor and Loki. Whether you need a band rehearsal room in Liphook or a full recording setup, our engineering suite Bragi has you covered, housing SX2 DJ Decks for you to hone your skills ahead of any gigs or events you will be performing at. All of our studios have the capability to link back to Bragi for you to record from, as well as offering great spaces to rehearse. Bragi contains state of the art recording equipment, including the Behringer Wing. You can book a rehearsal studio online from anywhere in the UK in minutes, any time of day.

Valhalla Media occupies a first floor unit on the site of an old Paper Mill. Due to the fabric of the building this means some people may need additional help accessing our facilities or perhaps signposting to other local facilities. Please call us to discuss any accessibility concerns you may have before booking, or pop in to look around and see if our set up works for you.

The most incredible looking studio that I have been to! Such a great vibe, good equipment and lovely people. It's a new venture and they have clearly put a lot of effort into it. We are only open outside the hours of 09:00 to 17:00 Mon to Fri for advanced bookings or prior arrangement.

We have a powered sack trolley to help bring your equipment upstairs, however each studio is equipped with drums and amps/monitors to help reduce the amount of bulky and heavy items you need to bring with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Both. We have three dedicated rehearsal rooms, Thor, Loki and Odin, and Bragi, our engineering and production suite. All three rehearsal rooms can connect to Bragi via the Behringer Wing desk, so you can rehearse and record in the same session if you want to.

In most cases, no. Our rehearsal rooms come fully equipped with guitar amps, bass amps, a drum kit, microphones and PA speakers. You'll want to bring your own guitars, bass, sticks and personal items, but the heavy stuff is already there.

Yes. Bragi works really well as a podcast recording space, with a clean acoustic environment, microphone setup and production software on hand. If you'd like one of our engineers to help with the technical side, that can be arranged too.

Book Bragi through our website or by phone. The Pioneer SX2 decks and Serato software will be set up and ready for you. At £20 per hour, it's a cost-effective way to put in proper practice time ahead of a gig.

We're at Passfield Mill Business Park, just off the A3 at Liphook, Hampshire. Liphook railway station is a short bus or cab ride away, and we're well connected to the A31 and A325 for those coming from across Hampshire, Surrey or West Sussex.
